Re: beginner issues creating 1 by 1......

David, You need to add a Text box to your label. Text objects are simply just one line. I REALLY recommend reaching out to support as they can get your files and help you through the issues you are having https://www.nicelabel.com/support/technical-support?utm_source=NiceLabel_Forum&utm_medium=banne...

Re: beginner issues creating 1 by 1......

David, If you put the text files in before you started the trigger, the software will not recognize them. You can also turn on "track changes while trigger is inactive" in the builder, which will allow the software to monitor a folder while the trigger is stopped 2020-11-20_07h34_48.png Once you mak...

Re: beginner issues creating 1 by 1......

David, The software can print multiple text files, automation cannot use an excel database as excel is a formatted spread sheet. In the sample I sent you, the software is looking for a folder that you can drop the text files into, we will take the contents of the data, parse it out and print the lab...

Re: SQL Stored Procedure & Print prompt

Erazor, Solution files are only able to be used with powerforms and above. You could create the stored procedure using the custom SQL query in the label and then create variable prompts so the user would enter it each time. However, a form would help with better design and advanced logic and is a be...

Re: SQL Stored Procedure & Print prompt

Erazor You would have to create a form and use edit fields to have the user type in what they are looking for and then on a button click, a stored procedure can be run. We recommend taking a look at our samples to see how a form can be created C:\Users\Public\Documents\NiceLabel 2019\Designer\PowerF...

Re: beginner issues creating 1 by 1......

David, We do not see any photos. If you have multiple text files for multiple assorted products, it would be best to use automation. You will only really need to create one label if the format stays the same for every product. As we have shown in automation, you can drop a text file and it will map ...

Re: One variable in solution and many different size labels

Karnas,

There is an option to set format to specified object, but that is for the API/SDK and would require developing an app. Are you able to elaborate a bit more about your use case?

Re: beginner issues creating 1 by 1......

LoadsaaaTOP, Is there a reason each label must be separate? The software allows for variable data, which means you can pair down the number of labels you need to create. As each label is unique, if you are using a database connection, it will have to be done on each label. Can you attach a sample of...

Re: Change orientation depending on printer

Notneheinaj,

Generally unchecking that and saving the label should save it. What printer are you currently using with the software?
