Re: Programmatically Select First Record from Table on Form Load

Do you want to set active a specific record (row) in the Table object?

See the action "Select Table Row".

Re: Rich Text Formatting of Field From Access Database

When you configure a field in Access with "formatted text" option, you can format the text in bold , italic and similar. Access will ouput the formatting in HTML-based encoding. access.png NiceLabel does not support HTML formatting just now. To use formatted text, you must use RTF object (and consec...

Re: SimpleTestApplication returns "DocumentViewer is null!"

Most probably, your project does not include all the necessary references and NiceLabel does not find the requires DLLs. The message "DocumentViewer is null!" is NiceLabel's internal exception that displays, when the component for the Label Preview is not found. Also see the instructions in this doc...

Re: Nicelabel print 2017 module

Make sure to install the Office database drivers on the server, where you have installed "PowerForms Web site" component, NOT on the client. The client (running Web Client application) does not connect to the database, the server does. Also make sure to follow the instructions in the KB article Usin...

Re: Label in label

Haukinger, Herre it the "label in label" concept I did a while ago in PowerForms. The child label is designed as a separate NLBL file. The form loads the variable data from a table. Some fields from the selected record are used in the main label, some are used in the child label. For each change of ...

Re: Python: dynamic set variables?

The workaround I proposed before will work. It's not the most elegant, but it works. When you have name-value pairs constructed from the incoming data, save them into a file with the following structure. "field1";"field2";"field3" "value1";"value2";"value3" E.g. the real file would have such content...

Re: Label printig from excel database

Hi zakanybence, You probably forgot to define a "filter" in the table connection properties. Without a filter, NiceLabel will print all records it finds in Excel. With a filter, NiceLabel will print all records that match the filter. You must connect the Id of a product with a field in Excel that co...

Re: Expanded/condensed text in RTF box

A default RTF renderer in NiceLabel 2019 does not support some of the RTF directives, such as \charscalex. As a workaround, you can select alternative RTF rendered that supports additional directives, but you will have to update the RTF code inside RTF object yourself, the editor is coupled with the...

Re: VBScript - SQL Stored Procedure

Well, if CInt cannot convert value into integer, your value is not numerical or is too large.
Can you see what value you have in [POC.ID]?

If it has no value, CInt() will also fail with 'Type mismatch'.

Re: Data Matrix 2D Barcode Not Matching ISO/IEC 15434 Container

Hi Ebrahim, The ASC function requires values for all data identifiers that you have defined. If you provide an empty value for any data identifier, NiceLabel will abort the processing and display an error message. :? We plan to enhance this functionality to allow dynamic number of data identifiers. ...

Re: MiFARE Ultralight and NTAG encoding of password (PWD/PACK)

Hmm, your guess is as good as mine. :?
I would also choose between "After elements on each page" or "After each page".

My best suggestion is to just try it. :)

Re: MiFARE Ultralight and NTAG encoding of password (PWD/PACK)

Yes, the driver allows you to inject custom SATO commands in the print job created with NiceLabel. See the tab Custom Commands in the driver's Printing Preferences . You can specify the exact position where to include the custom commands. I am not sure how others have solved this problem. Perhaps so...

Re: Date Null in a barcode

Yes, this is easy with NiceLabel 2019, because it does all date conversions for you out of the box.
This example really shows that NiceLabel 2019 is new-generation software developed from the ground up using modern development tools and is not limited by technology as V6 was.

Re: Date Null in a barcode

I used some VBScript to get around the problem.

See the form in files.zip in my previous post. The action is on OnChange event for the check box.

Re: MiFARE Ultralight and NTAG encoding of password (PWD/PACK)

NiceLabel does not support the required functionality, yet.
We have it identified aready and is on the "wish list", but with no near-future plans to implement it.

When we add support for it, the functionality will be documented in the Release notes for that particular NiceLabel release.
