Re: On Click Event execute Script

Spikenaylor, I recommend you use native functionality provided within NiceLabel to accomplish this. For your Message Box, you can use the Action "Message" and have Enabled Condition so it only executes when TextBox = "" like you say: 2020-03-25_16h23_03.png And to "fully exit" the rest of the Event ...

Re: Office Pro 2019 and Nicelabel 2017

DeanFrancis,

What do you mean the machine will not recognize labels tied to an Access database? Is the connection to the database itself just failing? Maybe you can try to install the 32-bit Microsoft driver below:

Re: Create a form to manually fill out a label

Chris,

You can create Variables and enable the option "Prompt at print time". This will allow users to enter variable data manually with each print. See below:

Re: Zero padding a decreasing counter

stankon, Here is configuration for Counter in NiceLabel 2019: screenshot_16.jpg screenshot_04.jpg screenshot_17.jpg [qty] variable is just some 5 digit number that can be prompted for. I don't understand what you want with this +2%, but counter configured like this will decrement 23456 (or whatever ...

Re: Downgrade Versions

barrygt30, A NiceLabel 2019 license key can activate either NiceLabel 2019 or NiceLabel 2017. If you must install NiceLabel 2017, you can remove the current NiceLabel 2019 version and download NiceLabel 2017 from here: http://ftp.nicelabel.com/software/demo/v7/NiceLabel2017.exe Unfortunately, this l...

Re: Syntax Error

azersci,

The problem is you have 9 "destination fields" but only 8 "query values". In this case, it seems PrintDate is missing a value.

Re: Database variation with SDK

Reyu, Easiest way is probably to just use a database filter on the label/solution that is qualified by some variable. This way, when filter is qualified, record is selected and usable in preview/print. Or, depending on how things are configured, you can have some database > variable mapping and make...

RMatthews, You mention NiceForm, so probably you are using NiceLabel 6 or older, which is end of life now: https://www.nicelabel.com/products/specifications/product-lifecycle-policy Nonetheless, there are three things that could be causing this: Bug in software Bug in driver Bug in firmware We recom...

Re: Alert variables in Control Center

jcheevers, Yes, exactly what I was describing where logic of setting the label itself is failing - not the label print itself. Printing error of a label will provide the name of the label having an issue. But if you have an error about setting the label name itself, then technically this is not a la...

Re: Alert variables in Control Center

jcheevers, Sometimes Automation can have errors that are not related to the label/printing process. For example, if you have an error during data processing or using some Trigger logic prior to setting the label name. If label is unknown at time of error, this field will be blank. Please let us know...

Re: EPC - SN based TID

Cavallari, This is currently only supported with Zebra printers on NiceLabel 8.2 driver and NiceLabel Designer 2019.2. Otherwise, if you have knowledge about the printer language, sometimes you can send TCP/IP message to hardware directly and return the current TID. screenshot_16.jpg If RFID tag is ...

Re: load provisional values for all variables in Designer Print menu

christian, You can already export all variable information to an XML structured ".NLVR" file via Dynamic Data Manager > Export Variables. This includes all Initial Values and Provisional Values for variables. What other functionality do you need here? It is not ".values" format, but surely you can e...

Re: Textflow from one side to another

Edvardas, We've seen similar problems or requests like this in the past, where users want to have text "overflow" into another textbox at a certain point (or with excessive content). This isn't really supported in every scenario, but there are some options. Easiest one is to create two subset functi...
