Re: Barcode printing issue

Thanks for the reply. I did get the barcode to print properly by changing printing optimization to print as graphics.
The barcode doesn't scan right though. It's not decoding some of the data correctly when scanning such as <HT>.
Any ideas?

Thanks,
Joe

Barcode printing issue

Hi,

I have a 2D barcode PDF 417 on a label. When I do print preview through automation the label looks fine. When we do an automation run and try to print it, the barcode prints over half the label overwriting other fields. Can you please help me with this?

Thanks,
Joe

Automation error handling

Hello, I'm having a problem with error handling. I have an automation process that's returning 2 records, opening, and printing the label. It works for opening the label but not for error handling. I changed the label name so the On Error will fire. It looks like the On Error is only firing once to ...

Re: Control Center integration

How would I reference the directory of labels stored in control center? I have an automation where I read in the label data from an xml file. The label template name is a variable in the file, but I need to set the variable of the directory where the label is stored. How does the directory structure...

Document Storage network error

Hi, How do you get the integration to document storage working with a local computer from Designer or Automation? Is it best practice to map a network drive to DavWWWRoot? I'm running into an issue where I'm getting this error when I click on network drive: "Mutual Authentication failed. The server'...

Control Center integration

Hello,

I'm relatively new so please bear with me. I have a question about Control Center. When the solution and label files are stored in Control Center, and when the solution is run, are the label files being called from Control Center, or the application server directory?

Thanks.

Re: Alert variables in Control Center

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I created an automation alert. In the automation builder I am setting the [LabelFileName] prior to Open Label.
I removed the label files from the directory to trigger the alert. It's not putting the label name into the email though.

Thanks,
Joe

Alert variables in Control Center

Hello,

I'm relatively new to Nice Labels. I created a new Automation alert in Control Center, and I accepted the defaults. The alert email gets sent out, but variables such as [LabelFileName] are coming out as blank. I'm wondering if I missed a step. Any ideas are appreciated.

Thanks,
Joe
