Re: Increasing a hexadecimal by sixteen decimal label to lab

In Nicelabel this counter is readily available. I think you just need a counter that steps 16 every single label. The outputformat should be set to Hex. You can check with this example label i made.

Re: standalone label system with scale weight

We have done similar things in the past using that same keybaord. The basic application can be adjusted to match. If you call it Auto.bas it will start automatically. You should realize that the keybaord has a very slow processor and limited memory. In fact the baud rates will suffer for lack of pro...

Re: Supported Zebra Printer for multiline variables

I tried this using a Zebra 170 PAX4. The export passed with no problems. Can you tell us which printer you are using exactly ?

Re: Niceform: Labelname from Database

Hi, In Nicefrom make a local variable (add) and call it Layout. Connect this layout variable to the database field conatining the value of your assigned printer. Make sure the preview is set to this 'Layout' variable. Make sure the Print action 'Set Printer' is set to the same variable. You could lo...

Re: Code128 barcode to exact width

HI Spilla, The exact wide of a barcode is the result of it's magnification factor based on the narrow bar width. This bar width which is the smallest element of the barcode depends on the actual resolution of your printer. You could try this on a laser printer with 600 DPi or more. You will have mor...

Re: Designer Standard

Hi Ronald,

As the name says. 'Print only' will only print and not allow you to design anything. It is used to allow people in productions to print but nothing else. You would need a designer to make some labels too.

Other differences are found here http://www.nicelabel.com/products#designer

Re: Batch Job Printing

Hi Matt,

If you just want to scan a barcode, look up stuff in the database and print it, you could make a form with a database connection, label preview and an input box. Use the input box to 'FILTER' the database. It will be far easier to achieve.

Re: license dll file modified

I hope you can read english. The message you are stating has a couple of causes. In Nicelabel 5.2 this is a known issue. So first update to the lastest 5.4.4 version.

If that does not help look at http://www.nicelabel.com/index.php?t=faq&id=194

Hope this helps.

Re: Scanner input jump field

Hi Hitch. Add an ENTER to the scanned data by configuring the scanner. Then look for 'TAB order' in the form design. Make sure the tab order is ok. If you can manually enter each field and have it jump forward after the enter key it will behave the same if your scanner also adds the enter key after ...

Re: Read Only ???

Hi Hitch. Sometimes this is caused by changing security rules on your system. Do you still have read right permissions for the labels ? Are you sure there is no extra Niceengine running in the background ? If you have configured Nicewatch it may be triggered to open a label. If the actions do not in...

Re: Help need for Floor Scale and Indicator instalation

Hi Maathai.

In spite the fact that Nicelabel can be used to communicate with scales we are not Scale specialists. I would advice you to get the brand and typenumber first. From there search for the manuals. They should explain how they communicate. Then set Nicewatch or form accordingly.

Re: NicePrint and variabels

Hi there. No Niceprint does not allow any automation. If you have Nicelabel suite or the new Easyforms or powerforms you could get defaults form a database. In the label variables it is also possible to provide default variables which, of course, will be the same every time you oen the label with Ni...

Re: Original printer name

Hi Joe,

You should open the label you speak of and choose the printer on which you want it to print. There is a checkbox on the label setup that says 'always use default printer' make sure it is not checked. Save the label and you should be ok...
