Re: Turn off the date/time format checking.

Tekumze,

We use both models of the SmartDate and I've verified the date/time pictures need to be added to both drivers.

Re: Turn off the date/time format checking.

I'm using one of the Easy Print Communicator drivers, but I believe we are running into the same issue with our SmatDate drivers as well... I'll have to check on that. I've been working on getting a quote from you guys to update the picture formats in the SmartDate and SATO drivers, but I've been to...

Re: print crescent-shaped label

Just thinking out loud here, but couldn't you just define a larger label to accommodate the print area?

Turn off the date/time format checking.

How can I turn off the date/time format checking in NiceLabel. My printer supports all of the date/time formats I need for my label. The problem is the NiceLabel driver doesn't contain the picture for all of the formats my printer offers. So, if I want the day of the week for instance. I can put a "...

VB Script arrays in NiceForm

How do you do arrays in VB Script in NiceForm and how do you pass those arrays between forms?

For instance right now I save the variables to a file when leaving the source form and read the variable from the file when opening the target form.

NiceForm - Text randomly moving

I have NiceForm 6.0.1 (Build 8459) I'm designing a rather complex form and I'm having a few problems. 1) When moving a group of items, text will move out of its related position to other items, see attached. 2) A text object is in the correct location in the form designer, but when I run the form, t...

Viewing labels in NiceForm on 64-bit

All of our workstations and all but one of our servers are 64-bit, but the SmartDate 2/3 drivers are only available in 32-bit. The 32-bit server is the NiceLabel server. Since I can't install the 32-bit drivers on my 64-bit machines, is there a way to process the label for previewing on the 32-bit s...

Re: Time based triggers

Well that's a bummer. I hope that feature gets incorporated sooner then later. For now I'll try using scheduled tasks as you suggested.

Thanks,

Re: SmartDate 3 date and time format

Yes, that would be a valid solution, if the BBD was a simple offset in days. Unfortunately, because the BBD isn't a simple offset in days I need to use VB to create the BBD that I need, but it doesn't look like VBScript runs in the printer. In other words, the date sent over is static. Because of th...

Time based triggers

Is there a way to define a trigger in Automation Builder that fires based on time?

I have a label that needs to be loaded to a packaging line every Saturday at midnight. This is because the Best Buy Date changes at that time.

Thanks,
-Dennis

SmartDate 3 date and time format

I'm printing to a SmartDate 3 printer and need the date and time to be in specific formats. I can accomplish what I need using the Composer software that comes with the printer, but I'm having issues achieving the same results using NiceLabel. The format that I need is DDMMMYYYY HHMM (24 hour time) ...

Re: Markem SmartDate 2/3 not working

:D =D>
Thanks!
I was not familiar with the Advanced TCP/IP port, looks like it's installed with the NiceLabel software.

Anyway, the Advanced TCP/IP port was the issue.

Thanks again!

Markem SmartDate 2/3 not working

I have the following: SmartDate 2/3 printer(s) Lantronix MSS100 (old style that we currently use and works from Markems' Cim Control. Lantronix UDS 1100 (replacement for the discontinued MSS100's) I did some testing before I purchased the software with a SmartDate 2 and was able to print to the prin...
