Re: For Each Line not working in Nicelabel Automation 1.5

Sorry to bother you again... Recently we got this problem again... In automation we get this : preview_automation.jpg (Same result when we print directly to a printer.) All the variables are not in the automation automation_variables.jpg When I do a preview in the nicelabel pro we get the correct re...

Re: Extended Demo key

It is Automation Manager 1.5 still 8-[
I don't see a button where I can extend it. Maybe it is available in a more recent version.

I already contacted our NiceLabel partner but he couldn't help us. So I came here first...
Contacting NiceLabel right away :)

Re: VB Scripting Help

i'm not an expert on VB script, but I don't think you need the [ ] when using variables.

Code: Select all

b=dateadd("h", a, now() )
This code should work fine.
Also you try to return the "a" variable. I guess you need "b" otherwise you just display the [items$.expiration_hours]

Re: Vbscript linking to Calendar input

Just for information, How do you put data in the label ?
Is there any database connection or txt file you use ?
Because this problem may be easier to fix outside nicelabel. So convert the date first, give that data to nicelabel and print. (Since you can't make a stand alone table in nicelabel..)

Re: Vbscript linking to Calendar input

For the first part you can use this to get the weeknumber : d=CDate("2010-02-16") response = (DatePart("ww",d,2,2)) the first '2' stands for the stard of the week (2 = monday) the second '2' stands for the start of a new year (2 = Start with the week that has at least four days in the new year) Then...

Re: How to Autofill

If the data is always the same you can use VBScripts to put the values where you want. Example : Create a textbox and add the code : Result = Left(Product_Number,Len(Product_Number)-1) This will create a string without the last character of the product number. (ABC12345) And in an other textbox you ...

Why not just link that text box to the database field ?
That way you don't need vbscript...

Re: General export from Nicelabel to the IPL code

Have you tried the Intermec PC43t (203 dpi) - DP driver ?
Saso mentionned that the sample file uses DP commands. If you use the IPL driver, this can cause problems.

My apology,
I didn't saw the 1.5.1 updates in the release notes.
I will download and test again.

Thank you for the help.

EDIT: So far samples that i saved to reproduce this problem are working now.

Re: For Each Line not working in Nicelabel Automation 1.5

Hello Saso, recently this bug appeared again. Sometimes we get labels with data in a field from the previous line. In the trigger we already have deleted all the variables that are not used. This still don't help. The quick workaround doesn't work anymore... You also mentioned that there was a fix. ...

Re: Two up labels

In Nicelabel Pro on the wizard of the label proprieties you can set the heigh and width and all. In that view you can set how many rows there are. So if you make a label of 100mm then set the print area to 50mm and set the number of rows to 2 you get 2 labels printed side by side. In the screenshot ...

Have you tried with drivers from Toshiba ?
We use the B-SA4T with original drivers and all works fine.

Re: For Each Line not working in Nicelabel Automation 1.5

Thanks for the help. We will try that out. Somehow the 1.3 can handle this type of action and 1.5 can not. I will test this on the 1.4 to see if the problem is there or not. (So that we can use the build-in backup system) About the fields, we just import all the fields from the label. But we never t...
