The problem is that USB ports are virtual ports and are not created on the PC until a device is plugged in. You are in the mobile thread so we assume that you are trying print from a mobile computer via USB. If so, the problem is that most mobile computers such as bar code terminals, do not have USB...

Here is the scripting used in NiceLabel to replace values in a record or to insert a new record. You will have to insert code for your MySQL database: Function InsertAccessRecord(filename, tablename, fields(), values()) Dim conn, SQL, fieldsString, valuesString, f Set conn = CreateObject("ADODB.Conn...

Have you tried another 203dpi ZPL NiceDriver instead of using the ZD driver to see if the results are different?

If you are using a POS system like CounterPoint the problem may be that everytime you open the label, NiceLabel converts the label to the default printer on the PC, then converts it back when you select the Cognitive driver. There is a fix to this in the NiceLabel SDK v5 that allows the application ...

The only way to do this is to make the graphic positions as variable fields on your label design. At runtime, you will have to provide a path and image file name to the variable positions that you need a graphic to print in through the API.

Create an Expression in the field that you want to truncate that will take the left 4 characters after removing the colon characters (assumes Time1 is your variable name):

Left(Replace(Time1, ":", ""),4)

Since you are swapping the day and year between the two fields, this complicates things. If you were not swapping the values and simply wanted to remove the "/" characters, you could do a simple Replace() expression on one of the fields. The easiest method in your case would be to create two Date va...

Is your label file located in the default label file folder? If not, try concatenating the path in front of the label name in your VB Script. Sounds like NiceWatch can't find the path to the label file.

You will need to handle this with a VB script function. Create a Visual Basic Script Function in Pro (Data|Functions menu). Just call the output variable DateCode. this script does not require a Date variable in NiceLabel. It simply takes the date directly from the PC clock. After finishing, use the...

You need to evaluate the value in the database to see if there is a value. If not, then set the output field as an empty string, if so, then set the Result value for the field equal to the database field value. You would have to create a script in that field on the label that would be something like...

We assume you mean in NiceForm. Unfortunately, only a tab allows you to move between fields that are set in the NiceForm Tab Order menu option. The Enter key can be used to execute a default button action, but not to move between fields.

This is a new feature in NiceLabel v5. Our support group ran a quick test with your parameters below and the test was successful using your description. A label was designed with 3 colums and 2 rows on an 8.5x11 sheet. Double sided printing was enabled in the label setup to allow 2-sided design in N...
