Re: COM port dropping characters

Hi Yes, there are lots of customers that are successfully using Serial Port trigger and I know we will manage get you among one of them too. First step I would like you to do is to add an action (add it to the top as the first action) Save Data to File and select "Use data received by the trigger" a...

Re: Every Problem

Hi there No this is not a know bug, otherwise it would already be fixed. I could not reproduce this issue here in the headquarters. Can you provide a reproducible scenario and provide a label that you use. Please also provide full version number of the software that you use (like 17.3.0.12345). Rega...

Re: Too many labels

If the process count goes to 10 this means that the Serial Port trigger was triggered 10 times. In your case I would double check the serial port trigger configuration. Why would the trigger execute 10 times instead of one, hmmm, if you have "On number of characters received" set to 1 and you send 1...

Re: Sequential numbering order per column not per page

As I see the most difficult part here would to get the values from the database in such order that you'll be able to print them like the example you provided. This can be done with a custom SQL statement that you need to write. You would need to get the values in this order... 1,2,3,4,20,21,23,24,40...

Re: Could not load file or assembly 'SDK.NET, Version=17.3.0.0

Hi Unfortunately you have to install NiceLabel on the same system as you want to use the NiceLabel API. Please try placing the executable in the same folder as the NiceLabel's files are. If that doesn't work try enabling the Fusion Log. That is useful for checking why as assembly is not loaded. Rega...

Re: NiceLabel2017 - color change

Hi

Unfortunately the only way I can think of is having multiple items on the label and showing and hiding them. Other than that you could program your own application which would then use SDK to execute printing and before that to manage the colors of your objects.

Re: Issues with missing info. Older verion to Pro Version 17.3

Good. I hoped it will work now. The problem is that you want to add <GS> and <RS> characters directly to the TransferDataSyntax function. But this is already done automatically. Your TransferDataSyntax needs to look like this: Clipboard06.png The prefix values that you have for example the value "17...

Re: How to display the solution manager

Ok, this makes sense now :D There are three product levels. Express, Pro and PowerForms. Express and Pro allow you to edit one label at a time which you can print whenever you want. While PowerForms allows you to have a solution which includes Forms where you then select which label you will print a...

Re: How to display the solution manager

First of all I have no idea how can you close the solution manager in NiceLabel Designer 2017. Anyway, deleting the product.config and windowsstates.config from this folder "c:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\NiceLabel\NiceLabel 2017\" should restore the window positions back to default. Ok

Can you try the attached solution

.

This one generated the same output that you have in the Verified Microscan image.

Let me know if it works.

Re: Database Connection String Replacement doesnt work

One thing you need to know here before we start debugging into details. When you open a NiceLabel Designer 2017 you will use the original connection string. Even if you run the form from the designer. Once you try to use this label in the NiceLabel Automation or when you run the form directly with N...

Re: Database Connection String Replacement doesnt work

No. There is no placeholder file. I will suggest this for our future releases. The file name needs to be exactly DatabaseConnections.Config The ".Config" is the extension. The file needs to be in the "c:\ProgramData\NiceLabel\NiceLabel 2017\" folder for NiceLabel 2017 or in "c:\Program Files\NiceLab...
