Re: Database Connection String Replacement doesnt work

One thing you need to know here before we start debugging into details. When you open a NiceLabel Designer 2017 you will use the original connection string. Even if you run the form from the designer. Once you try to use this label in the NiceLabel Automation or when you run the form directly with N...

Re: Database Connection String Replacement doesnt work

No. There is no placeholder file. I will suggest this for our future releases. The file name needs to be exactly DatabaseConnections.Config The ".Config" is the extension. The file needs to be in the "c:\ProgramData\NiceLabel\NiceLabel 2017\" folder for NiceLabel 2017 or in "c:\Program Files\NiceLab...

Re: Converting ZPL code to Graphics

Hi Dennis

There is a web site "labelary" that offers converting ZPL to images. But I assume that you already googled that.

Other that that there are no applications that offer conversion of zpl streams to images.

Re: Extracting data from selected label + group in panel + docking

I can answer that this one is already implemented: Use a config-file to store database connections, switching the datasource from a test-environment to the costumers database is somewhat difficult. A variable from a file or even using a normal variabel would help. To read about it open the following...

Re: Issues with missing info. Older verion to Pro Version 17.3

Jon I've checked the label you gave me and it seems that what ever I do I always get the MFR value in the barcode. I have some steps below for you to follow: 1.) Download this .zip file. TDSHCADCMedia.zip Extract the file and open .lbl in NiceLabel V6 and create a print to file. Open the .nlbl in Ni...

Re: Designer Express and SDK License

No, It is not a bug. See here for the versions available and what each version supports:
https://www.nicelabel.com/design-and-print/features

You can contact sales if you would want to upgrade your Express license so you'll be able to use SDK.NET

Re: Issues with missing info. Older verion to Pro Version 17.3

Hi there I tried to reproduce your issue here and I get the same barcode in V6.5 as in NiceLabel 2017. Here is my label... can you try to test this one from V6.5 and V2017 to see what happens on your system? And then can you please provide your .lbl file so I can test it in the office, TDSHCADCMedia...

Re: Using LEN to add spaces to QR code

If you want to have the position of the Quantity at 15 then you need to update script to this:

dim PNSpace
PNSpace=space(14-LEN([PART]))
Result = [PART]&PNSPACE&[Qty]

I've tested this and it worked. Here is my sample:
FixedPosition.zip
(3.32 KiB) Downloaded 108 times

Re: Problem to use Redirect Printing to PDF

Ok, Can you create a simple solution that saves to a local folder (c:\tmp\) and upload it here so I can verify if we can reproduce the problem here in the Headquarters.

Re: Print Speed

Hi It certainly takes some amount of time to load the assemblies for the first time when doing the first print. That is why I would leave the sdk.net loaded once the printing is done for the next print to be faster. This depends on the speed of the system. But taking 20 seconds to send something to ...

Re: Not sure if this issue belongs here...

Hi I spent some time with out driver development team discussing your issue and I couldn't provide enough information. They still need to know a few things before pinpointing what happens with your system. And discussing this over the forum will take too much time so I suggest that you open a suppor...

Re: Print Speed

Hi Vincente I have a couple of questions before we begin... What software are you using and which version (by this I mean the exact build number, check the dll properties). What do you mean by "another label"? Does this mean that the first label is printed fast and others take 20 seconds to print? C...
