Re: 2 or more different labels on one A4 sheet!?

Hello, You can eighter connect to an external database (XLS, MDB, TXT, CSV, ODBC, .....) or you can create your own in the software (using Lookup Tables function). I would suggest you to read the manual as it was written to be as straight-forward as possible. In case you run into problems feel free ...

Re: Alternate Print Job name ?

Hello draaisms,

You can create a JOB file to print the label and while doing so, you can use JOBNAME command that is used to set the name of the print job.

Please see our manual for further details on how to use JOB files in NiceLabel.

Kind regards

Re: Intermec 501XP

Hello, The error message you got explains you that the intermec printer you have does not support internal counters therefore you can only use the software to perform the counting. This means that software does not generate one page and sets quantity to 500. It rather creates 500 pages. I am not awa...

Re: 2 or more different labels on one A4 sheet!?

Hello, When you created a variable you selected to be Prompt at Start. This means that application will ask you for a variable value before the print process begins and it will hold the same value throughout the printing. If you wish to be prompted in between you need to go to variable properties an...

Re: 2 or more different labels on one A4 sheet!?

If you have for example a 4x5 labels per page and want to print first 8 labels you must enter 8 as Label Quantity. If you enter Page Quantity this means that the whole page regardless of labels on it will get printed. If you only have fixed contents on the label you designer all of the labels on the...

Re: Intermec 501XP

Hello _Dado_ The speed of which the stream is sent from the spooler to the printer depends on the actual processing speed and buffer of the printer. When NiceLabel finishes its production all of the data is in the spooler. Then spooler sends the data to the printer as fast as it can. You can try to ...

Re: 2 or more different labels on one A4 sheet!?

Sure you can, when you click print you will be asked for quantity. Simply enter 6 or 8 instead of 1 and you will get the desired labels printed :)

Re: 2 or more different labels on one A4 sheet!?

Hello Rex, You are designing a Label (White) while you see a Page on the screen (yellow). Grayed out labels are for decorative purpose only. What you need to do is to design the first label on the page (eg. connect to database, add database fields to the label, etc, etc) and when you hit Print you w...

Re: Slow to print

Hello zshansas,

First of all I would suggest you to use the latest builds of NiceLabel in combination with latest version of NiceDrivers.

The main reason for doing so is that we speed the print process by allmost 30% in lastest versions.

Let me know the results ;)

Kind regards

Re: Printing in a batch

So what you are lookign for is a trigger started from NiceLabel that one label was printed and it should somehow wait until you set the variables and then continue to print? If true such mechanysm would be slow as NiceLabel cannot know how much time you need to set the variables before the applicati...
