Re: Nice Label SE 4

It is hard for me to answer that as this is not our decision. You should contact your printer vendor with this question. NiceLabel SE is shipped as a free software with printers, you can although buy NiceLabel Express or NiceLabel Suite which gives you more features as well as up to date version of ...

Re: Nice Label SE 4

What you have is an old version that is known to have problems on Windows Vista and above. My suggestion woudl be for you to upgrade the software to latest version (5.2.2).

If you do not wish to do this, you can also try to run SE 4.0 as administrator...

Hope this helps 8)

Re: Database Alphabeticlization

Hello, I understand your privacy concerns and totaly agree with you not to send us those files. Anyhow you can try to create a new sample database with sample data and replicate the problem / issue with it and send those over. It is hard for me to give you a suggestion if I don't know what exactly a...

Re: Combine Variables in RichBox

Sorry for the delay, new year and holidays made it hard to do so :)

You cannot do this in the way you would like to, what you could do is add two RTF objects and use ActiveX to show/hide the one you want to print...

Re: Database Alphabeticlization

Hi there,

Can you send the databases and forms that are causing access violation to our technical support department (support (at) nicelabel.com) so we can have a look in the development.

Thank you,
Jurk

Re: Cannot set variable error

Can you give me your e-mail on private message here on the forum so I can send you a sample.

I am not sure what mignt be causing the error in your case, but from what I understand your problem I replicated the label and a form file and the solution is working with no problem.

Thank you,
Jurk

Re: Label existing out of multiple parts

Hello, What kind of units are you using on the label (double click on label to get to label setup dialog and see the unit button on the right in Dimensions tab)? Is it possible that you label is 90x70 millimeters but the units in NiceLabel are set to centimeters or even inches? If not, please attach...

Re: Combine Variables in RichBox

This cannot be done because rtf.Variable and var1 and var2 are of instance IVar. You can only design a label, put two variables on the label (called var1 and var2) and add them as contents into the RTF object like so [var1][var2] And then set those two variables with 2x4096 of data. The result will ...

Re: Combine Variables in RichBox

When you combine variables in a RTF you are using variables that are part of the label.

The rtv.Variable member is the result of combination of the variables you specified in a RTF (var1, var2, var3).

So what you need to do is go over Label.Variables, find var1, var2 and var3 and set those.

Re: Retrieve variable list from lbl

Hello, We are thinking in XML way for the future, but at present we are stuck with compound files. When NiceLabel was designed (version 1) compound files were the right way to go. I don't understand the bit about the COM component...if you can install a COM component....install NiceLabel and use it'...
