Re: Retrieve variable list from lbl

Sorry, but this is not possible to automate differently than via ActiveX.

What you can do, is to manually open a label in NiceLabel and click on Data->Export Variables menu item. This will create an INI file with variable data inside.

Hope this helps 8)

Re: Niceforms Touch Screen keyboard

Hello, You will need to use VBscript to achive such functionality. But fear not, it's really simple 8) What you need to do is 1. Create a new form 2. Create a variable called "Result" 3. Add button with caption A to the form 4. Go to Events tab for the button and click Actions 5. Add a VB script act...

Re: Adding a Function Code to GS1-128 Label

Hello, You can use GS1-128 Wizard to generate the desired function. If you wish to add additional characters before the function itself you can use Concatenate function. To define a special function character 1 use <FNC1> as part of the contents, and NiceLabel will automatically convert it to the co...

Re: Obtain a label in the printer's programming language

Hello Mattia,

Try setting the PrinterPort property to "C:\<some path>\<filename.ext>" before executing Print.

You should see the print stream in the file you specified.

Hope this helps 8)

Re: NiceLabel Drivers with Stamps.com

Hello objec, NiceLabel Driver works as a normal GDI driver while being accessed from Windows applications. There is little or even nothing we can do if the software does not follow Windows API calls while printing. I think it would be best if you contact them and learn why they don't support standar...

Re: Red Prairie .POF questions

NiceLabel only creates the POF file and in general has nothing to do with third party DLLs regarding Red Prairie. What NiceLabel does is actually an export of label (in printer native language) with certain hooks inside for third party application to insert variable data. You can export Code128 and ...

To use NiceLabel's ActiveX interface in .NET you need to use our wrapper DLL instead of calling application directly.

You can create a label that already has variables you need in the NiceLabel designer and then only set it's values over our interface. There is an alternative but I don't recomend using it as it is farr more complicated as simply creating a label with variables and set their values afterwards. Hope ...

The application told you what the problem is. You have a variable called N°serie and the value you are trying to assign to it doesn't have correct length for that variable. What you can do is 1. Open label in NiceLabel and set variable N°serie's Fixed Length to false or 2. Open label in NiceLabel an...

Hello, When you export a label from NiceLabel what you get is a Print Stream that printer understands with special Placeholders for variable data (can be configured in Custom Export). What goes beyond there is also beyond NiceLabel and NiceDriver. Some barcodes (such as GS1-128 and Datamatrix) use s...

Hello, I see you already found your answer, but just to keep you certain I can confirm you that check digit does nothing negative to the barcode. The only reason it is there is for reader to know if the scah was sucessfull or not. CheckDigit is in fact just an algorythm over the data contents which ...
