Re: Pass variable from NiceForm to Label

Hi, The way you described is viable and has been done many times, so I assume that there might be some syntax issue. As a first step I'd suggest placing the variable for the where clause on the label and see if the correct data gets transferred. Then try hard-coding the where clause and see if the S...

Re: RTF custom formatting

Could you provide us with the contents of the [ingredient_fr] field, so that we can test this?
Also which version of the allergene function are you using? The initial version had some problems with Unicode characters, including things like German umlauts and accented characters used in French.

Re: How to change dimension for a text

Hi, with NiceLabel you won't have to go through the trouble of calculating this manually. You can just put a text box object on the label that has the maximum dimensions that you would like the text to take up. Then activate the best fit option and the text provided for this field will automatically...

Re: Conditionally Display Data Returned by a Function

Hi,

when I run the print preview (CTRL + R), the script does exactly what it is supposed to do:
If I enter a 1, it displays nothing.
If I enter something else, it displays that.
I'm not really sure why you'd see something else... Which version are you using?

Re: Convert string to decimal

Hi, if you provide the data that is actually sent over the COM port and what you want from it, we might be able to help you filter it correctly. Concerning the conversion and adding up: You can just use a VBScript with the CDbl function. It will convert a string that contains a decimal value into a ...

Re: Conditionally Display Data Returned by a Function

Hi Jon,

could you provide the label (either attached or via PM if you don't want it to be public), so I can have a look at it?
Your script looks correct, so I'm not sure why it would display anything :?

Re: Automation Builder Enterprise - Redirect Printing to PDF

No, there are no NiceDrivers for PDFCreator. If you don't print any physical label with this, any driver should do it, you just might have to adjust the size of the label after changing the printer.

Re: Automation Builder Enterprise - Redirect Printing to PDF

Hi, Sorry, I'm not able to reproduce your problem. I set your configuration up on my end and it produced the attached PDF without problems. It might have something to do with the fact that your label (and also the action Set Printer in Automation) are based on the PDFCreator. Using a printer that ut...

Re: cant figure out voice pick code in nicelabel

The code you posted is VB.NET which is not VBScript. Therefore you get an error on the first line, because VBScript can't do anything with the class statement.

Re: SAP -> PowerForms -> Label

As I said, there are bundles that include PowerForms and Automation Easy, which can be enough to print from SAP. For a more sophisticated solution our enterprise series might be more suitable for you, since it has much more features that enable you to build your print process exactly like you want i...

As Sasa pointed out, this fix was included in later builds of version 5. Please make sure that you are using the latest version. Re: SAP -> PowerForms -> Label

Hi, PowerForms does not contain NiceWatch or Automation. There are however bundles that contain PowerForms as well as Automation. And yes, Automation is the successor to NiceWatch, but it is a completely new engine that allows much faster printing. Regarding SAP integration: That really depends on h...

Re: How do I print .jpg files or convert .jpg to .lbl?

Hi, our designer works with our label format, .lbl and can't open .jpgs as label files. What you can do is very easy though: 1) Create a new label. 2) Insert a graphic element. 3) Choose the desired .jpg as the source for the graphic. 4) Resize it to fit the entirety of the label. 5) You can add var...
