Re: How do I make a form of different packaging labels?

Since I don't understand the language on the label, I have to ask:
What do you enter if you want to print 3 pallets and 2 boxes?
It might be possible to do this, either quite easily or maybe with a little more work, but first I have to understand how you print this label. :)

Re: Rich-Text aus MS Access-DB inkl. Formatierung in NiceLab

Re: Partial variable printing

The easiest way to achieve this would be something like: Result = Left(varRedAndBlue, InStr(varRedAndBlue, "&")) Left returns the leftmost X characters in a string. X can be found dynamically with the help of the InStr function which returns the position of the first occurance of the second string i...

I'll make sure to open a feature request for it, maybe it will be available in a future version, but I promise nothing

Re: Multiple records of the same variable in a single label

What I meant is if they are sorted like alphabetically ascending or something, but that doesn't appear to be the case...
Honestly I don't think there is a "nice" solution to this, but it could be possible with some scripting :?

Re: Multiple records of the same variable in a single label

Are those values sorted? And I assume they have to stay in this order?

Re: Multiple records of the same variable in a single label

How do you select which record to print in the first place? A filter variable? If you want to pull 2 records at the same time, you will need to create 2 connections to the database and pull the records separately. The problem here would be knowing which is the second entry in relation to the first. ...

Re: using part of a code

I'm not sure if SQL works with Excel to be quite honest...

But you can simply add a second filter. It must be another contains filter though, but that doesn't make a difference in your case. Just add [codelive] contains 'yes' as a filter and it should work fine :)

Re: creating a unique SSCC label with check digit

I just created a sample, because you didn't describe the exact contents of the SSCC in your first post. You can simply modify my example: Add more variables that are prompted upon print. Decrease the counter to 2 digits. Concatenate the last digits together with the help of the concatenate function ...

Re: TrueType fonts are not printed - NiceLabel Express 6.3 (

Hi,

what printer and model are you using?
Also which driver is in use with this printer?

Your printer might not be able to print graphics and since TrueType fonts are handled as graphics by the printer, that might be the cause why they don't get printed.

Re: creating a unique SSCC label with check digit

Hi, NiceLabel has a built in function for the SSCC. You will need to define a few variables for this: 1) Extension digit 2) Your GS1 company prefix 3) A counter for your pallet numbers The check digit will be calculated automatically by NiceLabel. I created a sample label for this, where no input is...

Re: Changing the Logo on a Label

You can either just enter any valid path in the field there or hit the little button next to it and browse for many common graphic formats. If all your labels and associated graphics are in a shared folder, using relative paths is a good way to prevent trouble if you have to move the files around. M...

Hi,

I'm not quite sure I understand what's going on.
I suggest you contact your local support team, in your case support@nicelabel.de in German.
There we will be able to help you much more efficiently. :)

Re: using part of a code

Hi, I made a quick example of how this could be done, but it doesn't look pretty. In the end you will have one form where you can print all your labels. You can basically use a combo box to let your users select the section they want to print from. Using this selection you can filter your database e...
