Re: Microsoft Jet engine cannot find...

Hello, I don't think this problem has anything to do with changing of router or higher speed of the router. Most likely you have lost the path which is set in your Form design to your database. Please note that we always suggest using UNC path (as you have mentioned: \\shared-PC\database\database.md...

Re: Changing value read from excel

If you want to change your actual values in your Excel file (so making changes and saving it back to Excel) then this will most likely not be possible, as Excel file is not a real database, so it is opened in Read Only format. If you would like just to change some contents before your print your lab...

Re: Installing Zebra UPS LP2844.... Problems!

This looks like the connection problem between the printer and your driver. I suggest you checking the port settings in the driver. Try also to print a test page to see if anything comes out of the printer. If you need more help with connecting your printer to the computer, perhaps you should contac...

Re: Visiablity of Objects

Hello, I assume you are using "label" object in your script for controlling the visibility. Please note that this is part of NiceLabel designer's ActiveX. This is "legacy" technology, which is not supported by Automation, as it was rebuild from scratch on .NET technology. With that being said, curre...

Re: NiceForm-label for two different types of printers

Hello,

you can use the same label for both of your printers. NiceLabel will detect the printer change so it will still print with internal printer objects. But of course printer needs to support the used barcode, otherwise NiceLabel will convert it into graphic at the print time.

Re: Assign a var which is in the label with VBS in Automatio

Hello,

Variable needs to exist in Automation configuration. Then you can simply do as you suggested in your VBScript: var2="1"

Re: Connection to NiceLabel Pro network server is not availa

Did you also check share permissions? Please do so also, and make sure that also "share permissions" will allow anyone to modify the files. Also make sure that when you run the client and it asks you for the licence location, that you use UNC path and not some mapped drive, as it is mandatory to use...

Re: Connection to NiceLabel Pro network server is not availa

It seems that the domain user doesn't has full access on the network folder and thus it cannot obtain the licence from the database. This is why it asks you for the licence information.

Make sure that your domain user has full access on the network folder.

Re: The nutritional value of food products - Designer Pro

Hello, there is no built in functionality for designing an actual table, but there are two possible ways to achieve this: 1. If your table has fixed width and height, you can simply draw a lines and boxes around your text objects, which will result into a "table". 2. You could also prepare a RTF tab...

Re: NiceLabel and Lan

Hello, I am sorry for a late reply. From the description it seems as the NiceLabel application might be opened with the user who doesn't have correct permissions on the network location, so when you open a label from NiceLabel it opens it only in Read-only. I suggest you looking into that direction,...
