Re: Switch between functions for label field

i think I would use the 2 different time functions and save the result in separate variables; ExpDateMoths, ExpDateDays. On the label I would put a different variable; ExpDateOnLabel. If you want to show the label with the correct ExpDate as a preview on a form I would put a script in your load prod...

Re: Time field only prints start time on label instead of time label printed

Hi, The time you print seems to be static in your print job; i.e. the system time is used on the time of printing. At this time 1 job is made and that is printed multiple time without time updates. Are you using the Nicelabel driver for your printer and is the label specifically made for this type o...

Re: Printer feeds empty label

ahaaa, that makes sense :)

Might be a good idea to consider asking your label supplier to put square black backmarkers on the backpaper.
This way the printer will see it as if it is a square label.

Re: Printer feeds empty label

Hello Manuel, I have had this problem with several different causes as well. First thing I always check is my label file, is it made for the printer you are sending it to and is your paper size correct. I usually set this to manual and put the size of the label hard for this layout. For instance if ...

Re: Refreshing Variable for a timed event

Hi PVlabel, In Nicelabel variables are static so you have to update them. Can you tell how and where you update your variables? I assume you do something like the following: On form event every xxx miliseconds if (offset(now, lastPrinttime) < 2) then Popup On print event set variable lastPrinttime= ...

Re: GS1-128 Format trimming Leading Zeros

Sounds like you have put your variable as a floating point (number). Leading zeros are removed then. Try setting your variable to alphanumeric (text).

Re: If Then control in item Action

Just to add to what Mytch said,
the group option is perfect to make this readable and easy to maintain. Also you only need to put the conditions once.
See below an example how I use these as my if-statements.

CAB A4+ driver issue

Hello, I have an issue with the Nicelabel CAB A4+ driver. From Niceform 2019 I send a normal print job to the printer with amount set to unlimited. This works fine but sometimes my printer controls completely freeze and I have to reset the printer. This seems to happen when we print larger badges of...

Re: Saving Label preview as jpg using Vb script (Niceform2019)

I am already using Niceform.
But I seem to have missed the new option Preview label that saves the preview as a jpg without the use of a script.

So problem solved.

Saving Label preview as jpg using Vb script (Niceform2019)

Hello, Im converting from Nicelabel 6 to Nicelabel 2019. One of my scripts in Nicelabel 6 is to make a jpg from a label preview so we can send an example picture to our clients. Now I can't seem to find a similar Object in Nicelabel 2019 as the "Nicelabel6.Application", is t still available and if s...

Re: Niceform 6.5.1 - background color for a table row when a certain value is in collumn X

Hello Saso,

That explains why I couldn't find it :)
For now I'm making a separate view/table for "running order" and "planned orders".

Will there still be updates for Nicelabel 6 as well?

Thanks for the help!

Niceform 6.5.1 - background color for a table row when a certain value is in collumn X

Hello, I'm currently integrating our production planning into My NiceForms. Getting the planning onto the form, easy. Starting an order in our planning software via Nicelabel, easy. Changing the background color of the row my started order is in... apparently harder :) So basically I'm looking if it...

Re: Setting a Limit on Printing in Niceform

y, just before your print action add a vbscript with simply if quantity >= 500 then quantity = 500 end if or instead you could make a nice pop up if quantity >= 500 then MsgBoxanswer = MsgBox("Stop printing to many labels!!!") end if and as a condition on your print action you put the MsgBoxanser = ...
