Using functions from an External ActiveX DLL

Post by Murtaza » Wed Sep 16, 2020 10:00 am

Hello,

I have a need to Encrypt some data and use the encrypted value into a QRCode. I have an external library (ActiveX DLL) file compiled in VB6 which I would like to reference from NiceLabel 2019 PowerForms. I have the sourcecode of the encryption/decryption functions, but I would not like to port them into Nicelabel as a VBScript for the simple reason it exposes the algorithm.

For this reason I would like to reference the public functions of this DLL into Nicelabel and use them into VBScripts. Any ideas if this is possible?

Thanks & Regards
