NiceLabel ILabel.PrintSettings.SetParameter missing Rotation

Post by rshealer » Wed Feb 22, 2017 10:14 pm

In NiceLabel 5 & NiceLabel 6 I could set a print parameter to ROTATE the label 180 degrees.

The current version of NiceLabel 2017 is missing this parameter. Is this an oversight? Is it scheduled to be added in a future release. Or should I be looking into the PrintSettings -> DEVMODE parameter.

If so I don't see DEVMODE documented or sampled.

You are correct, the Rotate parameter is missing in the current API.
But the request is already on the wish-list for the future development.

With each release we are closing the gap to the functionality from v6 (and also adding new features not available before).

Any update on this?

Also, where are the valid SetParameter values documented?

In my app, I've run into an issue where .nlbl files originally pointed to printers with older drivers are sometimes apparently ignoring the "Rotated" value in the templates. The solution so far is to pull them up and save something, and then they start working. Unfortunately there are several hundred of these, which then have to be imported into a custom database, so I was hoping for a programmatic solution as a possible workaround.
