Dynamic resizing of rectangle

Post by SDS_Assembly » Thu Feb 08, 2018 10:22 am

Hi, I have been experimenting with resizing a rectangle based on the width of a text-object read from a csv-file...
I can read the width and write it but I can't get it to update the script for each read record...

I have understood that this might be a limit in how scripts are processed by the engine but I'm wondering if there are any work-arounds?

It might be worth noting that my print volumes are quite low so performance aren't an issue...

You are right. Currently there is no way to update the position of the rectangle during the print through code. Once you set the position of the Rectangle it will stay the same during the print.
