Exporting lables to database and or excel/text file

Post by jlzinck » Tue Jun 22, 2021 2:28 pm

Long story short- My facility is closing down next Feb- ](*,)
All out labels are going to the sister facility.

They currently print from a database.
We currently create and store labels individually on the label system we have for labels.

My question- Can I export the individual label information (variable and or static info) into an excel or text format?
Can I export all label files into a database?

I am in the process of downloading all the used guides but am having issues as of this moment.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Its possible to do this in powerforms with the "create label variant" action. It can loop through a database and create static templates from each record in the database.

That's my issue.
None of my current labels are in any sort of database. They are all stored locally on the machine attached to the printer.

Is there a way to export the existing labels and create a new database from these labels.

The database would have to be created by you with all of the information that would reside on each label. The software does not create databases
