Hello,
I am somewhat new to NiceLabel.(2019) I want to generate a label from an excel spreadsheet that has data and pictures embedded. I have converted all the fields/columns to text per some other postings here, and as I mentioned the images are embedded in a column. Is this even possible to attempt? Are there any good articles that can walk you through setting up a custom label using excel as the source?

SImply define the path to the image in your field for pictures. For example:
C:\Users\YourUsername\Pictures\image.png
\\server\folder\image.png
..\..\image.png
https://somesite.com/images/image.png
Picture itself should not be embedded in the cell - just the location of where to retrieve the image. See below for example:
