Updating SQL doesn't work

Post by solsol » Wed Jan 02, 2019 12:12 pm

We have variable X set as Allowed characters = Numeric. If we send negative value e.g. "-10" this will give warning:
'Value has invalid format. Value "-10" contains invalid characters. Following characters are allowed "0123456789".'
In Action Execution and Error Handling we cannot save this to error variable as it is not en error just a warning.

Update SQL won't run and task in the host system doesn't get response that is has been processed. Search SQL statement then finds the same task unprocessed and tries to print it. This will cause task to loop in the printing process.

Is there a way to get warning into a variable or do we have to change variable parameter to accept all characters?

solsol,

You can save the error in the update statement action

It would then save that to a variable and you can then display it on the form
