lisalabel2018,

NiceLabel Designer Pro 2019 does allow for ODBC database connections. If you go to Help > About what is your Product Level displayed as? Designer Express would not support this type of connection. If your product level is displayed as Pro, please send an email to support.americas@nicelabel.com with your v6 license key, 2019 license key, and related label file.

Thanks,
Mytch

NiceLabel 2019 Designer Pro does support ODBC connections. We would suggest opening a support ticket by emailing the previously requested items to support.americas@nicelabel.com.

lisalabel2018,

Please advise that we have since discovered a bug related to this issue in NiceLabel 2019 Designer Pro. This will prevent existing label files with an ODBC connection in the current version of NiceLabel Designer 2019 from being opened. However, this bug has been acknowledged and already fixed, which means it should be released with the next major update to NiceLabel 2019 (likely not to be included in the upcoming service release).

Thank you for understanding, and we will update this topic once the fix is included in a public release.

Regards,
Mytch
