Label is not printed as it designed in Nicelabel Designer

Post by Denny » Mon May 06, 2019 12:31 pm

Hi experts,

we encounter a problem Label is not printed as it designed in Nicelabel Designer.
For example, we use Nicelabel SDK 2017.1 to print 2.25x4 label, I add the paper form in the windows,
but the printed paper size is not correct.
Do you have any idea about this? Do we need to add a specific printer to support this label size?
I attached some screenshots for the label settings in the Nicelabel Designer for you reference.

Thanks.

Denny,

We recommend updating to the latest SDK which is 17.3.1 which you can get here http://ftp.nicelabel.com/software/demo/ ... el2017.exe

If you are still having issues after updating, please open a support case https://www.nicelabel.com/support/technical-support

Hi Kyleodonnell,

Thank you for your information.
5.0 label template can't be opened by nicelabel SDK 2017.1. Is this problem been fixed by SDK 201717.3.1?
Besides, Does nicelabel have SDK 2019?

Thanks.

Denny,

There is an SDK for 2019, however, label templates older than 5.4.4 should be converted to the latest version of the software in order for the SDK to open them.

Hi Kyleodonnell,

We have SDK license for 2017.1, can we use it for SDK 2017.3 or higher version?

Thanks.

Denny,

If you have a license for 2017, you can only use the SDK up to 17.3.1. If you need the SDK for 2019 you would need to upgrade, are you using the SDK with a CERT.ini file to pull in licensing or are you using the installed Nicelabel for licensing?

Hi Kyleodonnell,

I put the CERT.ini for SDK 2017.1 under 2017.3.1 SDK folder, when I run the sample project for SDK 2017.3.1,
It popup message "Initalization of The SDK failed. No valid license found."
Do you have any idea about this? I attached a screenshot for you reference.

Thanks.

Denny,

Please open a support case https://www.nicelabel.com/support/technical-support the technical team will need a copy of your Cert.ini file to see what could be the problem. Are you able to run any of the sample SDK files that come with the software that are located in C:\Users\Public\Documents\NiceLabel 2017\SDK\Samples
