Recall on more than one printer

Post by user12 » Tue Aug 20, 2019 10:20 am

Hi,

How to perform recall(updating the variables on labels) on more than one printer simultaneously at the same time? Many thanks in advance.

User12,

Are you referring to sending a recall string to fill in data and print the label?

Hi Kyleodonnell,

The data to be updated is obtained from a file trigger. Now I am updating the messages only on one printer.
Eg, for updating 10 messages,
for loop(1-10)
execute script
open label
print label
can I update the messages in 2 printers simultaneously at the same time?? or perform these actions for many printers at the same time??

User12,

If you are updating the printers via a script, you would have to have a variable in your payload that you can use to reference the same variable in your script to update several printers. You could also have multiple scripts that will update 1 printer for each script
