How to Copy and Paste Arabic! So Frustrated

Post by laineyhowe » Wed Jan 22, 2020 10:16 pm

I am using NiceLabel Pro and I am having the hardest time getting arabic text to come out correctly.

I used the fixed text and rich text box and it still will flip the words around. I copy and paste with the margin being moved to the right side. I thought maybe it was due to that there were commas and colons used but no it still does it.

I am trying to copy it off of a translation website if that helps.

Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

Lainey,

Can you attach a screenshot of what you are seeing when you try to paste the text? can you supply the text as well?

Hi there,

Have you set it as an arabic font?
Have you done a physical print test? From my experience there is a difference between previewing arabic text and printing. The preview does not match the actual printing. Where the preview is incorrect, printing sets the text as it should be.

For Arabic support, enable the Alternative rendering option in RTF properties.

Also, do not use built-in RTF editor to update the RTF content (the editor is not Arabic-aware and might corrupt your content).
