Data Retrieving

is there a way to set it so the record selection shows at print time. but does not have anything selected. the only options are First Record, Last Record or All Records.

As you already found, there is no option for this in Data Retrieving. Perhaps you can create a Filter instead, which requires some input to be matched before retrieving any records? PowerForms also allows you to create a Database Table object, which is used for selected data instead of the default Data Initialization object used by labels. The Database Table can be configured to select no records by default.

is there a way to do this using a form. currently it just displays the data initialization from the selected label. the database settings are saved to each label.
