exporting to a .POF in 2017

Post by enchant6 » Thu Jan 28, 2021 5:32 pm

Hi,

I am working with JDA / Blue Yonder / Red Prairie and have created a new label in PRO 2017.

I can't figure out how to export to a .POF file and I have not found this info in your documentation.

Also I see that the new labels are not .lbl but something else. Will that still work with JDA
or is there something else I need to do?

I'm using variables and the CMD= ... syntax. I'm not sure this will work without the .POF file.

I currently use a Zebra gx420d printer for printing labels.

Thank you for your help
Thompson

Thompson,

You need special Blue Yonder (JDA) license to use .POF export option. You may contact Blue Yonder or Sales directly to inquire about purchasing:
https://www.nicelabel.com/how-to-buy/contact-us

Any syntax relating to .LBL for legacy versions of NiceLabel. Export to .POF is legacy integration carried forward to NiceLabel 2017/2019 with limited usage. In general, export to .POF just contains ZPL generated from NiceLabel with variable substitution done by BY/JDA system.

Mytch

Thompson,

The product is NiceLabel 2019 LMS Pro (Label Management System) but license key must specifically be provisioned with Blue Yonder as the Partner. Sales can definitely ensure this happens - and Blue Yonder presumably can also initiate the order (they only sell this type of key). There is some additional co-branding/vender-specific functionality that is enabled through this license type.

Hope it helps.
