Expiry offset from manual expiry input

Post by Kyle » Fri Mar 05, 2021 2:46 pm

Hi, Not sure if this is possible/or easy?
We have a different set expiry dates for our labels which we print ahead of the time they are required so we need to be able to input a manufacture date and then use the offset feature to output an expiry of say 2 years later. For example:-
Product A has an expiry of 2 years.
Is manufactured in April '21 therefore requiring an expiry of 04/2023
Labels are printed in March '21 producing an expiry of 03/2023

Can there be a manual input for expiry that has an automatic output based on an offset added in at the design stage?

Thanks

kyle,

You can use the function of Dateoffset, that allows you to offset a date either variably or a static value. Please see the attached sample
