Calendar functionality in NiceForm

Post by Deegroller » Fri Jun 20, 2008 2:53 pm

I would like to add a date input field on a Form.
Ideally the user is able to choose a date from a calendar. In one of the example files supplied with the programme (Form.xff) you can see an example of this.

My question: How do I create a date input field, just like the given example within NiceForm??

Thanks a lot :D

If you create a date variable and place it on your label design in NL Pro as an object, a calendar object will be created in NiceForm automatically when you generate your form through the New Form from Label wizard.

Thanks Lpatty :D

I tried it, and it worked.

I also tried a different approach...without making use of the form wizard:
1-In NiceLabel I created a 'date variable'
2-In NiceForm I used the option 'Design > Get Variables', and selected the Label design, as created in step 1.
3-In NiceForm, I added a 'Edit Field' (use existing variable) and selected the 'date variable'.
Now you also get the calendar !
