smartdate 3 printer clock date and time

Post by uwe.b » Fri Oct 09, 2020 1:26 pm

Hello,
with Nicelabel and the markem SmartDate3 printer I print different informations on a label.
Now I'm trying to get the printer clock working, but I can't get it...

I use Nicelabel2019 and the Nicelabel printer driver for markem SmartDate3 5.6.3.

In my label I create a textbox with current time and a textbox with current date. In both cases I choose "always use printer clock".
I select "dd/MM/yy" for the date format and "hh:mm" for the time format .

Printing this label to a file, I get:

Code: Select all

GLOBAL JOBNAME:Etikett, PDPI:305, WIDTH:600, HEIGHT:600, RETURN_SPS:0
TEXT X:364, Y:304, ROT:2, COUNT_STEP:0, COUNT_NUM:0, FONT:24592, XEXP:10, YEXP:25, DATA:@ddsmmsyy@
TEXT X:364, Y:406, ROT:2, COUNT_STEP:0, COUNT_NUM:0, FONT:24592, XEXP:10, YEXP:25, DATA:@hh_mm@
ENDPAGE QUANTITY:0
ENDDOC
Sending this to the smartdate3 printer, I get:
-------------------
09/10/20
@hh:mm@
--------------------
If I select the time format "hh" the printed output is
-------------------
09/10/20
13 <== the correct hour
--------------------
Whats wrong with the printer driver???
Can anyone help?

Sometimes the problem is in front of the display.... :oops:

If I use only the selectable time formats, it works.
I always tried HH:mm but that is not supported and is not selectable.
hh:mm works.
