ZM400 203dpi label print too big

Post by belo_nl » Tue Aug 12, 2014 8:03 pm

Hi,

When printing from our old printer Z4M 300 dpi the print (tekst + barcode) fits the label.
By mistake the new printers ZM400 where ordered with 203 dpi resolution.
When printing the same labels on the new printers (ZM400 - 203dpi) the barcode and text are too large to fit on the label.

I think that the following steps are the only solution to the problem:

1. Buy a new printhead with 300 dpi resolution
2. The adjustment of the driver file (ZPL)
3. Adjustments of the labels (SAPScript)

Is that correct or are they maybe some other (more attractive) solutions???
Thank you!

R.

If your print process is using a windows printer driver to generate the ZPL stream, you might simply install a NiceDriver for the ZM400 - specfically the 200dpi option to match the dpi of your new printheads:

If your ZPL stream is currently being generated via some other means, we encourage you to contact your regional NiceLabel team about using NiceLabel Automation technology for a "Process Improvement".
