Realtime Clock Avery

Post by joenie » Wed Nov 05, 2014 9:47 am

Hi Forum,
we have a Problem to use the Avery-RTC in a labeldispenser application. We send the printjob ( 9999 labels ) to the printer and print the whole day with this job. A textfield use the RTC correctly - the time will get every 5 s from the RTC - the barcodefield in the same label prints always the time when I send the job.

This is the original easyplug for the barcodefield:
#T12.62 #J41.23 #YS13/0P2.0O/19.98/4//169^Y^M^D^h:^m#G

When I edit the easyplug, the printer works fine - the textfield and the barcodefield take the right time:
#T12.62 #J41.23 #YS13/0P2.0OY/19.98/4//169^Y^M^D^h:^m#G

The additional "y" means RTC will be taken every 5s.

Is there a solution for this problem ?

viele grüße

I think there are two options.
The first one is that you use alternate escapes, but you need firmware that support new command syntax. You can find this option on "Advanced setup > Other" dialog.
The print stream would look like below:
#VDD/Time1/Y/0/^h#G
#VDD/Date1/Y/0/^D. ^M. ^R#G
#T28.91 #J59.58 #FD/0/L #M4/4 #SF100//1 #VW/L/Date1#G
#T29.25 #J49.41 #FD/0/L #M4/4 #SF100//1 #VW/L/Time1#G
#T27.33 #J21.41 #FD/0/L #SB13/MNP2.0/20.00/4 #VW/L/Date1#G
#T04.16 #J21.25 #FD/0/L #SB13/MNP2.0/20.00/4 #VW/L/Time1#G

The second option is that you use new driver version, which will be released in next two weeks. This driver will have "Y" also for barcode element to refresh RTC every 5 seconds.
