how can I do a row count

Post by migueloadv » Tue Aug 07, 2018 1:22 am

I am working with Nicelabel powerforms, I want to make a visible data of counting of selected rows, but I can only make it send me the last selected row number, annex example screen.

Best regards.

Hi migueloadv,

Current NiceLabel does not expose the information about the number of selected records in the Table object.
As you have discovered, the Table object only exposes the row number of the selected record.

The request has been added in the "backlog" as idea/wish for the future NiceLabel development.

FYI, you could obtain this information later in the actions (when the user already clicks the button or executes the actions some other way). You could count the number of times the "For every record" action executes. But that is probably too late? I imagine you want to display the information, while the user selects records in the Table, not after the actions have executed. 8-[

That's right, I needed to see the data before sending to print, to validate the number of records, thanks for your answer, I'll let the end user know.

Best regards.
