Designing a printing form

Post by ofasa » Thu Apr 04, 2019 3:36 pm

Hi everybody,

I've already created several templates with NiceLabel Designer for our company's Labels. It is really easy to create a Label template and connect a database to these templates. I also created some Printing forms to be used with NiceLabel print.

To print a label, we need 4 different variables which are coming from same database. But they depend on each other. Like this: After choosing an article number, this article has four different color options, and every color has eight different size options. Until now, I used data initialization option (pic 1) to get this combination, but it is not sometimes easy for our employees to choose this combination from a database list. I tried to use other options (List box, combo box...) but there is always something missing.

is there any easy way to get this interface (pic 2) from printing form?

Thank you for your time.

Ofasa,

There is an easy way to do this if you have powerforms you can create a customized print form. The video here https://www.nicelabel.com/learning-cent ... n-solution should give you a good start in creating the form. If you need additional help, we suggest opening a support case. https://www.nicelabel.com/support/technical-support
