Print picture to PDF issue

Post by Denny » Mon Jul 08, 2019 1:53 pm

Hi, Expert

These days I met an issue about printing label using 2017 SDK and template, it related to print picture to pdf, attached is the template screenshot (template contain picture).

When I print this label use code like below:

IPrintEngine eng1 = PrintEngineFactory.PrintEngine;
eng1.Initialize();
ILabel label1 = eng1.OpenLabel("attached template");
label1.PrintSettings.PrinterName = "XXXX 1";
ISessionPrintRequest session1 = label1.StartSessionPrint();
label1. SessionPrint(1, session1)

and it errors out:

Could not load file or assembly 'IEvolution2, Version=4.4.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=4ab65cf407ad1e2b' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'IEvolution2, Version=4.4.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=4ab65cf407ad1e2b' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. File name: 'IEvolution2, Version=4.4.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=4ab65cf407ad1e2b'
at a.d.a.i.f.a()
at a.d.a.i.f.SessionPrint(ISessionPrintInitializer sessionPrintInitializer)
at NiceLabel.SDK.SessionPrintRequest.a(Int32 A_0, ISolutionRuntime A_1)
at NiceLabel.SDK.Label.SessionPrint(Int32 quantity, ISessionPrintRequest sessionPrintRequest)

I try to search this “IEvolution2” DLL in Google, but hardly to find this DLL with specific version 4.4.0.0.
what can I do for this problem? Can anyone give me some advice?

Thanks,
Ming

Denny,

This looks like it has to do with the compression of the PDF using IEvolution2 library, which looks like you are trying to use. We suggest reinstalling it
