Record selection during print

Post by schwendo » Fri Jan 10, 2020 4:38 pm

Switching to ver 2019 from version 6. We print from a text file and use nicelabel data filter for record selection and number of labels. In ver 19 the data selection field size is relatively small compared to the label preview. Is there a way to display the record selection more like the older versions or just reduce the size of the preview. filtering by field is harder with all the scroling. also is there a way to not select every record by default. We do not print every record and may need different number of labels for each record.

thanks

Schwendo,

You will need to go into the dynamic data manager, then click on the file you are connecting to then changing the record selection from all (which is the default) to first record. Please look at this video here on how to change the printing amount
